Abstract

On June 14, 1937, Frederick W. Heyl received an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Kalamazoo College. In this photo, Heyl (at center) walks in the graduation procession up to Stetson Chapel where the ceremony was held. At far left is President Stewart Grant Cole and behind Heyl is the other honorary degree recipient, J. Edgar Hoover.
