Abstract

The 1948 Bach Festival was performed March 12, 14, and 17. The solo artists were Harold Haugh, Maud Nosler, Ruth Slater, John Macdonald, and Nelson Leonard. It was directed by Henry Overley. The feature piece was "The Passion According to St. Matthew."
