Abstract

The 1956 Bach Festival was performed March 23-25. The guest artists for this year were Dorothy Lane, Lillian Chookasian, Ralph Nielsen, Kay Graves, Jan Rodriguez, and Erich Goldschmidt. It was directed by Henry Overley. The feature for this year was "The Mass in B-Minor."
