Abstract

The 1955 Bach Festival was performed March 25-27. The guest artists for this year were Heinrich Fleischer, Julius Klein, Glenn Schnittke, Mary Simmons, Phillip MacGregor, John Macdonald, Audrey Paul, and Carlton Eldredge. It was directed by Henry Overley. The feature this year was "The Passion According to St. Matthew."
