dc.description.abstractA demonstration held on May 17, 2014 demanded the creation of an Intercultural Center on campus as well as anti-racism training, transparency in diversity efforts by the administration, and changes to the student code of conduct. Members of several student organizations rallied the movement. Those groups included the Asian Pacific Islander Association, Black Student Organization, KalamaAfrica, K Desi, Latin@, M.E.Ch,A, and the Young Persian Society.
