dc.description.abstractA week and a half after an incident on Kalamazoo College’s campus involving a racist note and dorm room fire, the student newspaper updated the campus on the victim, the possibility of the SafeWalk program, and comments from the Dean of Students. The victim described feeling scared and unsure about whether to remain at the college while the dean discussed offering more activities and training to address diversity as well as ensuring that the student body and faculty became more diverse.en_US
