Abstract
One of my main methods of research was interviewing counselors and directors from summer camps throughout the United States. I was able to interview four camp directors and five camp counselors. The main focus of the interviews was learning about each camp’s sexual assault prevention and detection training, while asking other questions about the staff (and camper) training in general and demographic questions, such as camp size, gender breakdown, programs run, important issues, and religious affiliation. I asked for as much detail about the individual’s sexual assault prevention and detection training as they could remember and were allowed to share with me. The interviews have been qualitatively conducted, evaluated, and analyzed.
