MetadataShow full item record
Through text and photographs, the author explores the history of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Re Railway in Northern New Mexico—as well as the context of the surrounding landscape. Originally attracted to the line due to it having some of the last active semaphore railroad signals in the United States, the author became interested in the history of iconic transcontinental railroad and the Santa Fe Trail that preceded it.Reproduced with permission of the Railway & Locomotive Historical Society.
