    Abstract
Technology's role and progress rate is increasing in today's society. It plays a major role in the daily life of most people. As the technologies we use interact with our cognitive processes, they influence the way we acquire knowledge and think. Technology is meant to advance and penetrate human's cognitive abilities, but it also has disadvantages, which intend to distribute the overall nature of our cognition. In this research paper I will focus on the studies available about how technology affects the youth's brain in both the positive and negative ways. I will also focus on the relationship between humanity and machines throughout history and technology's effect in our daily life, including family relations and productivity progress.
