    Abstract
Social media (SM) sites like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn give employers a chance to gain additional information about job candidates. This proposed study was designed to examine how applicants react to SM screening. After baseline testing, participants with SM profiles would be split into two groups. One group would be screened by their personal SM profiles (e.g., Facebook and Twitter) and the other would be screened by their profession SM profile (e.g. LinkedIn).
