Abstract
The function of memorizing of a brain is basically due to synaptic plasticity. Ca2+ and dopamine inputs can lead to change in activity of AMPAR, through phosphorylation and dephosphorylation pathways. This process consists of hundreds of components. To describe the mechanisms behind LTP/LTD, many computational models are developed with various features. In this study, we will explain the biological background and introduce three computational models: model by d'Alcantara et al., model by Kim et al., and model by Lindskog et al..
