Introduction to Computational Models of Synaptic Plasticity
Abstract
The function of memorizing of a brain is basically due to synaptic plasticity. Ca2+ and dopamine
inputs can lead to change in activity of AMPAR, through phosphorylation and dephosphorylation
pathways. This process consists of hundreds of components. To describe the mechanisms behind
LTP/LTD, many computational models are developed with various features. In this study, we will
explain the biological background and introduce three computational models: model by d'Alcantara
et al., model by Kim et al., and model by Lindskog et al.. Administrator only at request of department.
