    Abstract
After looking into the literature for the ideal macronutrient intake for muscle growth, I applied those findings to myself. For two months, I recorded my caloric intake, weight, body fat, and measurement of my arms and legs. The results indicated an average of an increase in 1.9 pounds of lean muscle mass and 3.3 and 1.0 mm of circumference to my thighs and upper arms, respectively. These results aids in highlighting the importance of nutrition on muscle growth and the impact that diet has on body morphology.
