    Abstract
Raman Spectroscopy is the measure of different energy levels of a substance that allows you to see structural information of your substance. Raman Spectroscopy was performed on the organic semiconductor Rubrene (5,6,11,12-tetraphenyltetracene). In this research, three different types of Rubrene crystals were used: grown by us from Acros powder, grown by us from Sigma- Aldrich, and crystals purchased from Acros. It was previously thought that you would not be able obtain certain parts of a Raman spectrum of Rubrene without putting it in a vacuum and cooling it down to near 20K. This is no longer the case as we are able to obtain similar data in room temperature conditions on a microscope slide.
