Unspoken : Our Multifaceted Reality
Abstract
The artist writes “Human relationships—friendship, love and family, are much more complex than language allows us to describe. Although we don't have the words to talk about it, all of us experience these intricacies on a daily basis. We can converse about our interactions, but language forces us to simplify our relationships through limited vocabulary. The visual complexity of the images, the sense of momentary-ness and voyeurism in my paintings describe relationships in ways that words cannot. These paintings give the viewer a unique glimpse of a single moment, illustrating the interactions that pass too quickly for words.”
