Abstract
After looking at how the concussion related events unfolded in the NFL, it is easy to see why people have been questioning them. Their avid denial all the way up to them settling for the better part of a billion dollars with the clause that they didn't have to admit any guilt is extremely suspicious. With that being said, the NFL has made huge strides in making the game much safer for the players. These new rules paired up with the entire football community's newly found concussion awareness will hopefully lead to a significant decline in the number of former players that suffer from CTE. "Getting your bell rung" is no longer something that players need to feel pressured to play through, they can be comfortable knowing that everyone understands what they are going through and what could happen if it's ignored.
