Abstract
Artist's Statement: "There comes a time when we as artists have to look beyond the body of work and focus more on the artists at work. That was goal of this mural project. It was to do just that, look at artists as working beings and the art as a measure of success. I have been blessed with a gift to see the talents and abilities in others even when they do not see them for themselves. I have turned this gift into my most treasured leadership attribute. While planning and debating the means and location of my project, I was scouting the art classes for both polished and unpolished talent among my peers. A harder task than it sounds, but once my team was assembled I like to think I was doing what many old master painters were doing, creating a school of art. I cannot say that I gave them any talent, but I have given them an experience that will not leave their artistic minds."
