The artist writes "Dream Drops is a studio art senior individualized project meant to explore instances of the mystical in mundane moments. A viewing of the work consists of an animated video projected on the central wall with small paneled work displayed on the walls right and left of the projection. Additional, larger images maybe are placed on the back wall parallel to the video display. The display is designed to surround the viewer in the dreamscape depicted in my work. Utilizing watercolor and acrylic paint, I aim to depict a series of narratives meant to, replicate and function as a dream. This project includes multiple narratives. The paneled work signifies the beginning and end of the dream. They are titled to indicate these liminal moments. In my works titled Rainy day, A Day at the Park, Watering Nova and Lost in Paris, I bring to life my experiences through representational mini-stories that are grounded in mundane occurrences but constructed under a spiritual gaze."
