Abstract
The internship I completed at Quicken Loans was in build and release pipeline, a part of an application lifecycle management team in Technology. Much of the work centers around quality and process improvement, including how quality can be measured, analyzed, and improved. Although my day to day responsibilities were on my team in build and release patterns, I still found time to explore the company and technology in general. I completed many job shadows with people in other areas of the company, which were very helpful in identifying my interests and passions. Finally, I reflect on how my education at Kalamazoo College impacted my internship. I connect the experiential and liberal arts education I have to marketable job skills, and consider how prepared I feel for a career in technology.
