Abram Wisner writes to T.Z.R. Jones to inform him that he cannot pay interest on his scholarship since he has to pay for treating his “blind daughters eyes” in Philadelphia. He regrets purchasing the scholarship in the first place, “being of no use to me whatsoever,” and asks if he can send the scholarship back to Jones.
