Letter from M. Sherrill to T.Z.R. Jones
MetadataShow full item record
M. Sherrill writes to T.Z.R. Jones, replying to a letter sent to him by Jones asking for some sort of aid to the college, probably in the form of money. The gravity of the aid is unclear, but sufficient enough for Sherrill to refer to it as an “embaras-ment.” Unfortunately, Sherrill doesn’t think he can supply the aid Jones is asking for, and his efforts in reaching out to other clergymen have proven unsuccessful as well.
