dc.description.abstractThis is an official document from the War Department's Committee on Education and Special Training detailing the goals of the War Aims course to be offered by training detachments of the Student Army Training Corps (SATC). Instructions include the desired date by which to begin the course, a list of issues to be covered, and materials and syllabi to be used. Additionally, sections are included which express the Committee's desire for instructors to guide the class based on questions brought forward by the soldiers, as well as an overview of the desired results of the course, and instructions to co-operate with military authorities via the SATC unit's commanding officer.en_US
