Rape and sexual assault are severe crimes that can lead to mental illnesses such as PTSD, depression, and anxiety. In recent years, there has been an increase in attention towards colleges and universities, where these crimes happen frequently. This literature review is meant to demonstrate a variety of therapeutic treatments with varying results that can be applied in a multitude of ways. It also serves as platform for Kalamazoo College, which before 2017 had no specific support group for rape and sexual assault survivors.en_US
