dc.description.abstract | "Endgrain: Images from Wood, Ink, and Paper" poster and postcard for the 2016 spring term exhibit in the A.M. Todd Rare Book Room. The exhibit ran from March 28 - June 2, 2016. The exhibit showcased designs incised on wood blocks from the 19th to 21st centuries. The wood engravings showcased on the marketing materials are by Gerard Brender à Brandis, a Canadian artist known for his typesetting, papermaking, and book illustration.
