Construction of a Pre-Season Training Plan for Kalamazoo College Cross Country

In the course of this project, I developed a training plan for cross country pre-season training, based on my own experiences as a Kalamazoo Cross Country runner. My own training for the 2016 season formed the basis of the project, and was supplemented by research into the science and methodology of training used by distance runners. In this paper, I describe my background and experiences in running, the principles of training, and the training program that I produced.
