Abstract
For years, the NCAA Tournament has fascinated fans due to its unexpected outcomes. For this reason, an accurate prediction of the tournament bracket is considered to be a very respectable accomplishment. As a result, statisticians have created many probability models of NCAA Tournament games. In this paper, we will consider possible improvements on several statistical models for predicting NCAA Tournament games. Regression models using rank difference as a predictor will be highlighted. Additionally, we will consider multiple methods for evaluating predictions of NCAA Tournament games and brackets.
