Abstract
This study explores factors that could most likely facilitate a successful UN peacekeeping mission through analyzing three case studies. Kosovo, Croatia, and Mozambique are used to determine which factors matter most in a successful mission. Most scholars agree that all three cases are considered successful UN peacekeeping missions; hence a careful comparison of the presence or absence of hypothesized facilitating factors across all three cases isolates those factors most likely to contribute to success.
