The Art of Stage Management

Abstract

The duties of the stage manager are wide in range and included guiding cast members, completing paperwork, and organizing technicians though every step of the production process of the gender flipped production of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet directed by Todd Espeland at the Festival Playhouse of Kalamazoo College. This project offered me opportunities for professional development and cultivated skills which will be invaluable in professional settings.
