Abstract
Joseph Merrill writes that he has collected $10 for the institution at Kalamazoo, asks Stone to collect $11.00 due to [Merrill] and apply it on fund for the seminary. Merrill also makes note of local news, such as the church numbers 140 people, that their minister is Joseph Storer, and that [Merrill] has "caught a little of the anti-slavery spirit in attending Associations in Michigan," speaking of the fact that the Milford Association just met at Nashville, opposite Nashua in New Hampshire.
