Adventure Therapy Programming as an Alternative Rehabilitation for Female Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA)
Abstract
Given the re-prioritization of ecological wellness and the renewed interest in wilderness exploration, the current study seeks to provide an original Adventure Therapy (AT) curriculum for rehabilitating the self-confidence and identity formation of female survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) and a method for how the effectiveness of such programs could be empirically tested by researchers.
