As Strindberg can be referred to as one of the forefathers of modern theatre, I will be using his A Dream Play to analyze the beginning of Expressionism as a style in the theatre as well as the choices that artists make as they analyze and produce a play. Through my S.I.P. I wish to explore not only Expressionism as a theatrical style, but also the use of theatre as a way for the artists to communicate how they see the world, their place in the world, or to honor (or challenge) the ways in which others see the world.en_US
