As an Art History major, I feel that this was an extremely valuable experience with applied art. As an artist, it was a sobering experience, showing me the necessity
for seriousness and persistence if one is to avoid the potential dilettantism of the art historian-artist. In spite of many hesitations and problems, the beginnings I made in
painting, drawing, and photography stand as valuable new experience, especially important from the point of view of an Art History major.
