Abstract
The purpose of my Senior Individualized Project is to develop a plan for a company to be successful in this industrial marketplace. I have found that there must be a balance of brand recognition, progressive partnerships, and a strong business model in order for success to be attained. Monnier Incorporated, in recent years, has been working to develop as a company while attempting to meet the requirements of the aforementioned qualities for success. As an intern, I was given the responsibility of searching for ways to improve Monnier and eventually formulate the company into being a market leader. After completing my internship, I decided that the knowledge and expertise attained from this summer should be used to illustrate the opportunities and avenues that need to be taken to flourish and prosper in the industrial trade. Throughout my project, I plan on educating potential entrepreneurs and established companies about the roles that manufacturers and distributors play in the industrial marketplace while highlighting the ways that each entity can attain success and accomplish its goals. Throughout my project, I plan on incorporating terminology, topics, and ideas that I have learned throughout my education at Kalamazoo College and also mentioning the experiences that I have encountered while interning at Monnier Incorporated.
