Abstract
I felt, in many ways, "Necessary Sun" worked out well. Not only
did the cycle I was envisioning "turn out" physically well in the gallery,
it turned out well as a mental statement of a creation cycle; my ability
to unite what I've learned in the past four years, not being
concentrated in any one art form, into one powerful sum. I was able to
link my life with my art, art with women's studies, women's studies
with my life in a circular pattern that seemingly echoes what
experiential learning at "K" is all about; Making connections within... that
affect the without.
