A Study of Lighting Design at Actors Theatre of Louisville or My Life on the Grid
MetadataShow full item record
My project is a study of stage lighting at A.T.L. It begins with a discussion of Jon Jory's position as producing director at A.T.L. and how that position gives a structure to A.T.L. which must be assumed to all who work there. I will then show how the designer and the technician, as exemplified by Paul Owen and Jeff Hill, are forced to work within this structure. My information is based on my own personal experiences at A.T.L. and on discussions and interviews I had with Paul and Jeff.
