Abstract
Throughout my experience on Personal Curve I tried to stay true to my original idea as much as possible. Taking an idea and developing it over an extended period of time allowed for the freedom to let mistakes take place, but with each mistake a new direction for which to continue the idea was created. The result was a piece that I had not expected. Even though my background in art is primarily· in painting, relying on the concept rather than on techniques brought the piece into the realm of sculpture and installation. The curves challenged my concept of what art should be: creating with total freedom.
