Supplying Training Capital to Rural Costa Rican Women: Understanding Their Constraints on Participation
This thesis is a culmination of an eleven week study that took place in the province of Cartago,Costa Rica. I had the opportunity to study two development programs that supply training and capital to rural business women. From my observations as well as a self-developed interview guide, I was able to analyze both programs and determine some of the limitations that the women have participating in them. I was also able to make some suggestions for improvement based on my conclusions.
