dc.description.abstractThe number of homeless children in the United Stators is greatly increasing. With this rise it is important to determine what effects homelessness has upon these children. Research indicates that four areas are significantly affected by homelessness: health, development, personal and group relationships and education. While conducting research at the Metropolitan Ministries, a homeless shelter in Tampa, Florida, this researcher also concluded that these four areas of children' s lives are greatly affected by homelessnessen_US
