Discovery and Reflections on Cross-Cultural Adjustment

Abstract

This research project has been an incredible opportunity for me to explore the field of Intercultural communication and learn about my own cultural weaknesses and biases. Most importantly it has given me the opportunity to meet some wonderful people. The students that helped me with my research are kind, intelligent, and talented. Without their help and their willingness to share their experiences with me, this paper would have meant nothing. I am greatly indebted to the students for the experiences they shared and the lessons they gave me.
