MySpace.com: Taking a Closer Look at the Inner Workings of a Social Networking Website
Abstract
This paper aims to conceptualize data collected on the ways in which
MySpace.com members communicate within the cyber-society. A review of the
literature gives the framework by which to analyze the data in both sociological and
psychological approaches. My research indicates a variety of understandings of what it
means to be a part of the MySpace community, and how individuals interact within an
online setting.
