Abstract
The proposed study looks to determine which camp setting influence children's positive growth in development. Starting with literature review that explicates the characteristics of positive youth development and proposing a study of manipulating the supervision ratios between staff and campers, the proposed hypothesis that lower camp ratios would result in greater positive development will be tested. A total of 235 children aged 8-11 participated. The participant's improvement scores from both the experimental group and control group will be compared using a between groups t-test.
