dc.description.abstractDuring the Winter Quarter of 1976, I taught a Continuing education class at lake Michigan College, Benton Harbor, Michigan, in 'Beginning Conversational German' or "German for Travelers.' Enrollment was available to anyone, but I limited the class size to twelve. Nine people, ranging in ages 19 through 92 enrolled in this non-credit course which met twice weekly tor seven weeks, or thirty to thirty five class hours.en_US
