For my SIP, I worked with six pre-school age children teaching them German at a beginner level. Most of these children never had any access to a foreign language in any way. Because of this, I was hoping to see the benefits of starting a language at a younger age than we traditionally practice in this country, and whether or not their progress is faster compared to the high school level or beginning college level. I also tried to consider the pros and cons between learning another language at a younger age or later age.
