Abstract
This paper seeks to do two things. First, it is a research paper about different language learning theories. It will cover topics such as why it is important to teach a language, learn a language, and will give an overview of specific theories on how to teach a language. These theories are then applied to a project called Teaching German through Radio: Waldsee Radio at Concordia Language Villages. The project will be outlined in curriculum form intended for use in the two-week program at Concordia Language Villages. A description of the German language village, Waldsee, will be presented as information necessary to understand the realm in which the program was conducted.
