Literature Survey: Innovation in the Cruise Line Industry & Marketing Plan: The Disney Adventure

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the progression of the innovative features offered on cruise ships and show the correlation of innovation to a successful cruise industry that directly contributes and impacts the United States economy. This highly demanding and competitive industry has not only brought shipboard luxury to an amazing standard for cruisers, but has also increased the popularity and progression of cruises. Resulting from this we have the cruise line industry directly contributing to the well-being of the United States economy by cruise line purchases on U.S. goods and services and generating jobs.
