Refocusing: Serendipity Stables Entering the Online Network
Abstract
The basis of my paper is to incorporate the use of websites, social networks and other
forms of online marketing to help market Serendipity Stabies, an equestrian facility in
Wappingers Falls, New York. My internship with owner/trainer Susie Bagnato was aimed to use
my knowledge of different forms of online marketing paired with my extensive knowledge of the
equestrian world and apply it to her business. Because she recently moved into and opened this
equestrian facility she was not sure which steps to take in order to market Serendipity Stables
services of boarding, lessons, shows, kid camps, etc. Throughout this paper I will discuss my
internship in full in the Experiential Description, and I will go through the marketing tools she
uses right now, what r implemented into the new online marketing plan, and the financial
projections throughout the next 5 years.
By improving the website, and creating a Facebook and Twitter accounts, I feel as though
that will help to create more of a customer base for Serendipity Stables from the online
marketing. My recommended marketing plan outlined steps I took to improve these means of
marketing. There is also a separate marketing plan, called Serendipity Sale Horses, which will be
more of viral marketing that I feel can help Serendipity Stables as well. The projected financials
that I came up with show that by taking these steps it will prove to be very beneficial in the next
5 years.
