Abstract
Through the examination of various multinational corporations, a number of patterns emerge regarding how different companies choose to permeate a market. Firstly, a number of historic stigmas sometimes remain surrounding the concept of foreigners entering the Chinese market. These can usually be overcome by a great deal of patience, great networking skills, respect for your potential colleagues, and an understanding for cultural discrepancies. Despite some governmental action in recent years, corruption remains an almost omnipresent fact of Chinese business culture.
