Abstract
Regional EDGE is a non-profit economic development organization. The organization brings together companies in Southwest Michigan based on Michael Porter's definition of cluster-based economics. This S.I.P. will explore the history of Regional EDGE, and each individual Flagship and Cluster. In addition to exploring each Cluster and Flagship, this S.I.P. will explain the role of an intern at Regional EDGE and analyze the success of Regional EDGE to date based on observations ending September 2000.
