MetadataShow full item record
A major worldwide conflict in today's society is international trade. The constant change of information and opinions creates even more confusion concerning which trade laws are right for each country. One of the author’s goals was to learn more about the methods of communication and trade education that many organizations are using today, leading her to an internship with TRW, Inc. in Washington, D.C. Focusing on the Seattle World Trade Organization Ministerial and the theory of "protectionism," she considers the arguments against "free trade." There will always be disagreement and disputes over trade, but organizations, such as associations, businesses, and labor unions, need to better educate their employees, members and communities about the processes of international trade.
