Kalamazoo College Master Plan 2012. The 2012 Kalamazoo College Master Plan was developed over the course of eight months through a highly focused and transparent exercise. Beginning in August 2011, the Master Plan Process was openly conducted and guided by a Master Plan Task Force, which met many times during the Planning Process. The Planning Process also included input from the City of Kalamazoo. Andrea Augustine, City of Kalamazoo Planner, acted on behalf of the City and was a member of the Master Plan Task Force. Representatives from three adjacent neighborhood associations also served on the Task Force. During the Planning Process the College held a total of eighteen (18) meetings with the adjacent neighbors. Some meetings were held on K’s campus and open to everyone while other meetings were with smaller groups, including trips to a local college and high school to view stadium lighting. In June 2011, The Collaborative Inc (TCI) of Toledo was retained by Kalamazoo College to facilitate the Planning Process. Michael DiNardo, Phil Enderle, Sandi Carr and Paul Hollenbeck, coordinated the work of the consultant team.en_US
