This paper is going to get at two major things involving the commercial real estate business. First, I am going to describe my internship performed at CRS-Commercial Real Estate Services in Southfield, MI. I worked for tens weeks at the company and performed a variety of tasks that will be described through this paper. The second half of this paper is going to be devoted to applying economic theory to the commercial real estate sector of the economy. The study of economic theory will be done from both a microeconomic and macroeconomic stand point. The overall experience of doing my internship, reflecting back on it, and then writing my SIP should be seen through this paper as both exciting and enlightening.en_US
